Francisca Mendo

From Portugal, Francisca started dancing at the age of three. She trained in classical ballet and jazz at Centro de Dança do Porto, where she completed her Advanced 2 (ISTD) exam with Distinction. She performed multiple leading roles with the Company of Porto including Clara in Nutcracker, the Princess Sugar in Nutcracker and Kitri’s friend in D. Quixote.  In 2015, she joined the Institute of the Arts Barcelona, in Spain, where she trained with numerous well-known choreographers. During her time in Spain, she won Dance Student of the Year 2016 and performed in Barcelona, Sitges, and Valencia. In 2018, she graduated achieving a First Class BA (Hons). Upon graduating, Francisca moved to London in 2018 to work with Holly Noble Dance Company on her new production “Snow- a Modern ballet”. Since then, Francisca has been performing in the UK, Portugal, Abu Dhabi and she is also a teacher and choreographer of the London Dance Company. Her latest featured role was Odette in a UK tour production of Swan Lake ending in February 2020.
